Nvidia (NVDA) introduced DSX POD, a reference design for complete Vera Rubin AI factories built by partners in modular containers, integrated and validated before delivery.
The units arrive ready to connect to a site’s power, cooling, and networking infrastructure, potentially reducing deployment time from six months to as little as 14 days.
The design shifts the integration of computing systems, networking, cabling, rack-level power and liquid cooling from construction sites to factories. Nvidia said the approach could reduce construction work, labor requirements, logistics challenges and delays, allowing customers to bring AI training and inference systems online faster and generate revenue sooner.
“An AI factory creates value when it starts producing tokens — not when construction is complete,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “With NVIDIA DSX POD, we’re bringing factory-built precision and speed to AI infrastructure construction — reducing deployment time from months to weeks so customers can scale capacity and bring revenue-generating production online faster.”
Nvidia is working with Anduril, Armada, Bull, Crusoe, DayOne, Dell Technologies (DELL), Delta, Eaton (ETN), Foxconn’s Ingrasys, GIGABYTE, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Lenovo (LNGVY), Pegatron, Quanta Cloud Technology, Schneider Electric (SBGSF), and Vertiv (VRT) to deliver DSX POD AI factories worldwide, with deployments expected to begin in early 2027.
