La storia di Beniamino Zuncheddu, protagonista del più lungo errore giudiziario della storia italiana recente (33 anni di ingiusta detenzione), è diventata un film intitolato “Zustìssia”. Diretta dal regista Francesco Piras, la pellicola ripercorre il drammatico triplice omicidio del 1991 sui monti di Sinnai, la rapidissima condanna all'ergastolo di Zuncheddu e l'emozionante battaglia legale intrapresa dall'avvocato Mauro Trogu, culminata con l'assoluzione definitiva nel gennaio 2024. Il film è tratto direttamente dal libro di memorie “Io sono innocente”, scritto a quattro mani da Zuncheddu e dal suo legale.
