Strictly Come Dancing star Josh Widdicombe has "moved on" after "break-up" with Channel 4 panel show

Josh Widdicombe has hit an all-new level of fame as one of the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing, but he still finds time to co-host Channel 4's The Last Leg, the show that really served as his breakthrough.
Of course, being a fellow comedian, The Last Leg's main host Adam Hills cheekily decided to spin it in a completely different way.
"Do you know what? Watching him now, it feels like he's broken up with us and he's moved on," Adam told Chris Evans on his Virgin Radio UK breakfast show.

"Even to the point where they had, what was it, Icons Night over the weekend and the social media had Josh and Johannes and Emma and it said they called them an iconic trio… I thought The Last Leg was an iconic trio. But he seems happier with them…
"Now that I look back, it is like a breakup because now that I think about it, I'm like, 'Oh my God, the signs were there.'
"So after he did Strictly and did the Christmas episode, but then he kept posting because I think maybe Karen [Hauer] was his partner, but he kept going to watch the Strictly live tour and support her. Now I realise. Now I realise that they weren't work trips at all!"
Joking aside, Adam stated that he thinks that Josh is coming across as very genuine on Strictly.
"He's so excited. He's so excited," Adam added. "You watch the first couple of episodes and you can just see what I love about Josh on those first couple of episodes is there's no pretend TV face.
"He's not walked on and gone, 'Yes, I'm Josh Widdicombe and I'm hosting.' [He's] looking around in absolute awe."

The host also noted that doing Strictly has had an effect on how Josh comes across on The Last Leg.
"I genuinely think he was more relaxed on The Last Leg on Friday night," Adam said.
"He kind of sat back down on the couch and you could see him go, 'Oh, this is what I do for a living…'"
The Last Leg airs Friday nights on Channel 4, while Strictly airs on Saturday and Sunday nights on BBC One.
