Lula: Jaques Wagner 'não tem nada a ver' com caso Master e quer depor

O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), candidato à reeleição, saiu mais uma vez em defesa do senador Jaques Wagner (PT-BA) nesta quinta-feira, 1º, ao comentar as investigações envolvendo o Banco Master. Em entrevista ao Flow Podcast, Lula afirmou que o aliado "não tem nada a ver" com irregularidades e disse que Wagner quer prestar depoimento para apresentar sua versão.

"Não tem nada, não tem nada a ver com isso. Tudo que o Jaques Wagner quer é ser chamado para prestar depoimento. Se tem uma coisa que o Jaques quer é falar", disse.

Wagner aparece em documentos da investigação após a Polícia Federal identificar mensagens envolvendo a negociação de um apartamento destinado à filha do senador e pessoas ligadas ao Banco Master. Relatório da PF também menciona o envio de vinhos de luxo ao petista. O candidato à reeleição confirmou a negociação do imóvel, mas nega ter cometido irregularidades.
