Child, 10, critically wounded after dumpster fire triggers explosion in Beitar Illit
A dumpster fire broke out near a residential building in Beitar Illit on Wednesday, leaving a 10-year-old child in critical condition, Magen David Adom (MDA) announced.
The child is unconscious and is being treated for multi-system trauma, according to MDA.
The cause is currently unclear, but it is suspected that children lit the garbage on fire, causing an aerosol can to explode.
Authorities and emergency services are investigating the circumstances.
