From comes to Netflix US ahead of final season

Sci-fi thriller From is coming to an end... but if US viewers haven’t started it yet, they can soon watch the story play out on Netflix.

The series, which follows a small town trapped in place by an unknown supernatural entity, has slowly built up a cult following since it was first released in 2022.

Starring Harold Perrineau as the town’s de facto Sheriff, From has escalated to monsters haunting the woods at night to the inclusion of mysterious rituals and even the suggestion of time travel as the residents search for answers.

With each answer in this mystery series comes even more questions – and that’s why fans have been finding it so compelling.

Speaking to Radio Times, Perrineau spoke about his love for the show's continuing mysteries, explaining: "Here's the thing that's been really great and creative about the way that John [Griffin]'s written some of the stuff.

"Some of the answers, some of the clues, are so subtle that you are not going to know for a long time. And some of [the clues] are really big, so you'll be able to make big guesses about them, about connections with the town, and connections with the creatures."

Now, those who don’t have access to MGM+ in the US can rejoice, as it’s been confirmed that seasons 1 to 3 will arrive on Netflix US on 19 October for a limited time.

In the UK, all four seasons of From are currently available in the UK on Sky and NOW. There is no word on whether any earlier seasons of the show will also be available on Netflix UK at a later date.

And now is the perfect time to get into the story of From, as the fifth season has been confirmed by the showrunners and producers – John Griffin, Jeff Pinker and Jack Bender – to be the show’s last.

The message, posted earlier this year on From's social media channels, read: "Season 5 is a go! We are wildly excited to announce that we've officially begun work on season 5.

"Which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion. Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between."

The message continued: "We are thankful for the support of our friends and partners at MGM+. And we are grateful beyond measure for the mad passion of our entire Fromily.

"We're excited to share season 4 with you, and hope it whets your appetite for what's to come."

From seasons 1-4 is available to stream on Sky and NOW in the UK and on MGM+ in the US.
