Amedspor Applaud Orban’s Super Lig GOTM Award

Amedspor have congratulated Gift Orban after the Nigeria international won the Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Month award for September.

Orban claimed the individual honour for his stunning strike in Amedspor’s 3-2 home victory over Beşiktaş.

The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a powerful long-range effort that gave the goalkeeper no chance.

Amedspor took to social media to celebrate their talismanic forward, describing his effort as the best goal of September.

Orban joined Amedspor on a season-long loan from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in July and has made an impressive start to life in Turkey.

The forward has scored seven goals and provided two assists in six league appearances for Besnik Hasi’s side.

His fine form has also seen him rise to the top of the Süper Lig scoring charts, where he is level with Trabzonspor forward Mohamed Salah.

Amedspor currently sit at the top of the league table, and will return to action on Saturday, October 10, when they travel to face Gençlerbirliği.
