Kluang council files report over porn on hacked LED screens

The Klang municipal council (MPK) filed a police report after several LED screens in the town were hacked and made to display pornographic content last night.
MPK apologised to the public, saying it launched an investigation immediately after the incident, Berita Harian reported.
It is also working with the vendor of the LED screens to identify the cause while implementing measures to strengthen its cybersecurity systems.
State local government committee chairman Jafni Shukor said MPK had shut down all LED screens under its administration for the time being.
The hacked LED screens were in Dataran Tasik Kluang and Taman Intan, as well as several areas along the route to Kahang.
