India's cricketing stalwart Virat Kohli continues to set fitness standards, even at the age of 37. In the first ODI against New Zealand, Kohli pulled off an exceptional catch in the slip cordon off the bowling of Anshul Kamboj. The Indian stalwart produced a low, diving effort to his left and quickly signalled that he had caught it cleanly. Later, a bow-and-arrow celebration followed, suggesting the Indian cricketing great has also been infected by the festive fever.
The delivery was full and invited the drive from Nathan Smith, who fell right into the trap and went hard at it. A thick outside edge flew low to the right of second slip, where Kohli timed his dive to pluck the ball inches above the turf-a quality catch from one of India's finest.
To top it off, Kohli busted out a "bow-and-arrow" celebration, stuck his tongue out, and shared a cheeky smile with one of his teammates. Here is the video:

The catch from Kohli comes amid times when a section of critics continue to question his place in the Indian team, especially in relation to next year's ODI World Cup in South Africa. While there are those who doubt, Kohli's acrobatic efforts in the field continue to prove how much he invests in himself and his game.
Bowlers ran riot for India in the match, with Arshdeep Singh (4 wickets) and Gurnoor Brar (3 wickets) emerging as the top wicket-takers. Anshul Kamboj bagged two wickets while Rohit Sharma produced a phenomenal run-out as New Zealand were bowled out for 185 runs.
