Antonio Conte has been linked with both Juventus and Manchester United; while neither club is reportedly in advanced talks with the Italian tactician, the Red Devils appear closer than the Bianconeri to making a managerial change.
Juventus and Manchester United are both enduring difficult periods in Serie A and the Premier League, respectively, and speculation around Antonio Conte is another point of common ground between the two clubs.
Latest on Conte amid pressure on Spalletti and Carrick

Fabrizio Romano provided the latest updates on the Italian tactician on his YouTube channel, highlighting the main differences between Juventus and Manchester United’s situations.
Juventus lost 2-0 away at Genoa on Wednesday, suffering their second defeat in the last three league matches.
“Juventus have kept faith with Spalletti, but the club directors are clearly unhappy with the loss to Genoa,” Romano said.

Other sources have just reported that Juventus players will go into a training retreat from Friday until the next Serie A match against Napoli on Sunday.
Furthermore, CEO Giovanni Carnevalli strongly addressed the team this morning, the day after their loss to Genoa.
The Serie A giants are not currently considering sacking Spalletti, while Carrick’s future at Manchester United seems much more uncertain.
“United’s situation is unstable, but the Conte situation isn’t taking off. There’s nothing advanced between Man United and Conte,” Romano said.

“I can say Manchester United aren’t going forward right now. Manchester United have confirmed Carrick as their new coach, at least until the next match against Chelsea.”
Manchester United, however, haven’t won any of their last eight games across all competitions, and their faith in Carrick may be short-term.
