Mirabai Chanu added another achievement to her storied career, winning her first Asian Games medal in the women’s 49kg weightlifting event at the Nagoya City Trade and Industry Center on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old completed a total lift of 198kg to finish behind North Korea’s Ri Song Gum, who recorded 210kg across snatch and clean and jerk.
