Avengers: Endgame Encore crossed $125 million worldwide

The MCU blockbuster witnessed one of the biggest drops at the domestic box office in its second weekend. It collected an estimated $4.5 million at the North American box office in its 2nd three-day weekend. On the 2nd Monday, the film added another $345k acorss 3k screens in North America. The film saw another sharp decline of almost 80% since last Monday.

Based on the latest numbers on Box Office Mojo, Avengers: Endgame Encore hit $36.6 million at the domestic box office. The latest addition from the second Monday pushed the worldwide total past $126.6 million in 11 days. It might not be performing extraordinarily, but it has reclaimed its #1 spot in the all-time global chart.

Avengers: Endgame Encore has surpassed Supergirl’s global haul in just 11 days, despite being a re-release. DCU really should take some notes from Marvel on how to make ensemble superhero movies.

Avengers: Endgame has crossed $895 million at the domestic box office but will struggle to hit the $900 million milestone, even though it is just $5 million away. The film surpassed Avatar as the all-time highest-grossing film at the worldwide box office. Avengers: Endgame Encore was released on September 25.
