Big Brother fans urge show to "get Omar out" over "controlling" Rhianna comments

Big Brother viewers have issued a plea to show bosses over "controlling" and "gaslighting" comments between Omar and Rhianna. The lovebirds have divided fans since striking up a romance - or "showmance" to some - since the latest season of the ITV reality show began.
The latest episode, however, saw fans shocked and urging each other to "vote Omar out" following a row between the couple.
Last night's episode saw Rhianna and Omar embroiled in an argument after Omar took offence to how Rhianna said "please" to fellow housemate Lynx when asking him to cook for her.

Omar believed the comment to be flirty and accused Rhianna of being disrespectful, leaving her in tears.
Monday's episode saw the argument continue, with viewers accusing Omar of "blatantly gaslighting" and exhibiting behaviours of "coercive control" towards Rhianna.
It began with Rhianna appearing teary, later speaking to Yasmin in the snug and saying she felt she "did nothing wrong", describing Omar as "jealous" and saying of their relationship: "There should be a part where there is trust."
Later, in the bedroom, Omar asked Rhianna to sit down and asked her if she knew why he was annoyed, to which she responded that it was because she had been "too friendly with people, well, boys".
Omar said he "wouldn't do things like that naturally" and expects Rhianna to be the same way, adding: "We’re in here, we’re not in a relationship innit and I shouldn’t put these things on you if you’re not ready."

He then called himself "obsessive" before saying the "big issue" between them was that Rhianna apparently "failed to understand" his perspective and "stormed off" when he tried to explain, before saying "the disrespect is loud".
Later in the episode, Omar lay in a chair while Twinks placed a face mask on him and the pair laughed, leaving Rhianna annoyed.
Sat with Yasmin, she jokingly sang that she was "walking on eggshells because she’s too polite to other boys".
"If anyone else gave me a facial and was really touching my skin, he would flip out," she continued.
Omar came over and similarly insisted he had done nothing wrong, calling Rhianna a "bug in a rug" and saying he "didn't know why she was mad at him".

The exchanges left Big Brother fans calling out "double standards" and "red flags" between the pair, branding Omar "insecure".
"Rhianna needs to get away from Omar. They're not even dating and he's trying to control her already #RedFlag," one user wrote on X.
Another said: "If Rhianna's family care about her they will keep her far away from Omar."
One echoed a similar sentiment, posting: "You can already see the early red flags with Omar. Her parents must be shouting at the TV."
Several said they wanted to see Omar evicted, with a third writing: "Can we boot Omar off already? I physically can’t stomach watching these two anymore, like I'm on the verge of tears; I can’t take it anymore."

"I don’t like Rihanna but at this point we need to get Omar out to save the poor girl," another wrote, while one person added: "Big Brother not stepping in with Omar's controlling and coercive behaviour with Rihanna then?? Just let it carry on? WTF?."
One user wrote: "Rihanna, just know, this is what it will be like if you DO get in a relationship with Omar."
