Ben Folds Five Announce First Tour Since 2013

Translate

Ben Folds’ titular Five have announced their first tour in 13 years. The trio—led by Folds, Robert Sledge, Darren Jessee—are set to rock nine suburbs cities across the South next spring, with more stops to be announced. The full slate can be found below.

Folds founded the Five alongside Sledge and Jessee in 1993 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (they referred to themselves as five instead of three because it sounded better). Earlier this year, they released a shelved version of their first album for its 30th anniversary. In 2025, Folds resigned as artistic director of the National Symphony Orchestra following Trump’s hostile takeover of the Kennedy Center.
