Damian Lillard Net Worth 2026: How Much Is The Portland Trail Blazers Guard Worth?

Damian Lillard is worth an estimated $140 million, and part of that comes from a team that no longer wants him. The 36-year-old guard was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks last year after tearing his Achilles, but he is still being paid by them while he earns a fresh salary in Portland. Spotrac lists his career earnings at about $364 million, a total that keeps climbing. With a lifetime Adidas deal and several business ventures added in, his wealth has kept growing despite a major injury.

How Lillard's contracts built his fortune

The $140 million figure is an estimate, so the contracts give a firmer picture. Spotrac puts his career earnings at $364,166,141, and most of it was earned after Portland picked him sixth in 2012. His first deal was a $13.8 million rookie contract. A $139.9 million extension followed in 2015, then $176.3 million in 2019 and $112.6 million in 2022.

After he tore his Achilles in the 2025 playoffs, the Bucks waived him in July and stretched his contract, which spread the roughly $113 million they still owed him over several years. Lillard, a six-time All-Star and the 2013 Rookie of the Year, was expected to miss most of the following season.

Portland signed him that same month to a three-year, $41.6 million contract that is fully guaranteed. It includes a no-trade clause and a player option for 2027-28. His salary and cap hit this season are $13.4 million, though Spotrac lists his cash for 2026-27 at about $34.7 million, a gap that most likely reflects the stretched Bucks payments. Once all of that money has been paid, his career salary earnings should pass $440 million, even before any future contract.

Adidas, a car dealership and a rap career

Lillard has also done well away from the court. In April 2024, he signed a lifetime deal with Adidas after ten years with the brand, and only three active players have one. The partnership began in 2012, a ten-year deal came in 2014, and he now has his own shoe, the Adidas Dame.

In 2025 he earned an estimated $18 million outside basketball. The money came from a stake in an Oregon Toyota dealership, which he co-owns with his friend Brian Sanders, and from partnerships with brands such as Tissot and Biofreeze.

Lillard also raps under the name Dame D.O.L.L.A. and runs his own label, Front Page Music. After putting out his first single in 2015, he released his debut album, The Letter O, in 2016, and several more projects have followed, turning music into a genuine second business.

His next financial decision comes by June 29, 2027, the deadline to decide on his $14.1 million player option for 2027-28. Whichever way he goes, the Bucks payments will keep arriving, and if he opts out, he can test free agency in 2028 shortly after turning 37.
