Practical Magic 2 has been released in theaters, and discussions of its opening weekend box office are rife. It will be released across 4,000 theaters in North America. However, experts believe the film will open with an estimated $40 million in domestic box office in its opening weekend.

It has collected an estimated $3.5 million to $4 million from the previews in North America. Meanwhile, the film is on track to earn $18 million to $23 million overseas across 77 countries in its opening weekend. Therefore, the movie’s global opening weekend is expected to be between $58 million and $63 million. However, there is growing confidence that the movie could overperform, driven by its status as a sequel to a fan-favorite classic beloved by millennial and Gen Z women.

The sequel follows the Owens sisters, and they must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all in a must-see cinematic event of fun, magic, and mayhem.

Directed by Susanne Bier, featuring  Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Dianne Wiest, Stockard Channing,  Joey King, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, and Xolo Maridueña, Practical Magic 2 was released on September 11.
