International Emmys Nominations Have UK, India, Argentina Vying In Both Marquee Drama & Comedy Series Races

We have the nominees for the 2026 International Emmy Awards.

Three countries — the UK, Argentina and India — landed noms in both the marquee Drama Series and Comedy Series races. Vying for the Drama prize are the UK’s A Thousand Blows, France’s Carême, Argentina’s Mehem and India’s Real Kashmir Football Club. The Comedy nominees are Season 2 of Argentina’s División Palermo (Community Squad), the UK’s Man vs. Baby, Spain’s Old Dog, New Tricks and India’s Vir Das: Fool Volume. See the full list below.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will present its statuettes during the awards gala on Monday, November 23, in Manhattan.

“The International Emmy Awards are as competitive as ever, with an outstanding range of entries from around the world vying for a coveted Nomination,” International Academy President & CEO Bruce L. Paisner said in a statement. “We look forward to bringing the global television community together to celebrate these exceptional programs and performances.”

Some 22 nations are represented in the 16 International Emmy categories: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Türkiye and the UK.
