Police have arrested two 11-year-olds and charged one of them after a woman was pulled from a bus and robbed in Townsville last night.
Police say the 28-year-old woman was boarding a bus on Flinders Lane around 7.30pm when she was pulled from behind onto the ground.
It is alleged the woman was then assaulted while on the ground and had property stolen from her.
She was treated by emergency services for head injuries.
Officers arrested two 11-year-old girls a short time later.
One has been charged with robbery in company using personal violence.
She had bail refused yesterday and will appear in Townsville Children's Court today.
Another 11-year-old was also arrested and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
