Finance minister details division of tasks among three deputies

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia's Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara detailed the division of tasks among his three deputy, with each still paying attention to other fiscal responsibilities.
Speaking at a press conference related to the state budget at the Finance Ministry Office here on Friday, Nazara explained the minister and the three deputies generally work together in managing the state budget and the ministry.
However, each deputy has a main work focus while still paying attention to other fiscal responsibilities.
"It is about work focus, meaning the other matters are also given attention," Nazara said.

Deputy Finance Minister Juda Agung will focus on handling the financial sector, international issues, and financing.
Deputy Finance Minister Nurkholisoh Ibnu Aman is responsible for state revenue, including tax revenue, customs and excise, and non-tax state revenue (PNBP).
"We all know how important this aspect of state revenue is for the state budget," Nazara added.
Deputy Finance Minister Luky Alfirman is in charge of state spending, treasury, and transfers to regions (TKD).
Meanwhile, all four will focus on management, organization, human resources, the ministry's budget, and other matters.
"We will work together, but there will be several focus areas for the deputies, whose lineup is now complete," he said.

As of Thursday (Oct 1), the deputy finance minister posts are again filled by three people under Presidential Decree Number 104P of 2026, which appointed Alfirman and Nurkholisoh to join Agung in assisting Nazara with his duties.
Alfirman is a senior Finance Ministry bureaucrat, while Nurkholisoh has extensive experience as an economist and researcher at Bank Indonesia.
Minister Nazara earlier said state revenue through the end of September 2026 reached Rp2,341.5 trillion, up 25.5 percent year-on-year (yoy) and equal to 74.2 percent of this year's target.
"Through the end of September, our budget performance is quite good. State revenue has been collected at Rp2,341 trillion," Nazara said at the Investor Daily Summit 2026 on Thursday (Oct 8).
