Jeremy Clarkson addresses response to emotional Clarkson's Farm scenes amid prostate cancer journey

Jeremy Clarkson opened up about his battle with prostate cancer on his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson's Farm, in season 5.

The move went down well with fans, who praised Clarkson's honesty; according to his partner, Lisa Hogan, around 30,000 people visited a prostate cancer charity's website in just one day after he went public with his news.

Speaking exclusively to Radio Times at the National Television Awards 2026, Clarkson confirmed he was fine after his previous diagnosis.

"I'm mended, I'm made of rock and steel," the presenter admitted. "Takes more than a little bit of prostate cancer... but I would say to everybody, if you're my age, get tested. Just get tested, because I did, and they caught it early. They were able to mend it and I was back at work in two weeks."

Speaking of the response to Clarkson's Farm season 5: "I think people are fundamentally nice. I think we all got a niceness in us, and it was very heartening to receive all the well wishes."

Despite his win for Reality Docuseries at the National Television Awards, it was business as usual for Clarkson back at the farm.

"Well, we've got to send some goats off to the abattoir, I've got to get five fallen down ash trees back out of a stream where they're blocking everything, and then of course the great thing about farming is then there will be other things, and I don't know what they're going to be... I can get this very stupid outfit off," he laughed.

Clarkson' Farm is streaming now on Prime Video. You can sign up to Amazon Prime Video for a 30-day free trial.
