Watch Druski Get Down to This Viral Latin Hit With Marcello Hernandez Ahead of ‘SNL’ Hosting Debut

Translate

Druski is dancing his way to hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend.

In a promo video posted Wednesday (Nov. 4), the content creator appears alongside SNL cast member Marcello Hernandez, and the pair momentarily get down to “Dame Hombro,” the viral Bulin 47 and Kevin Wai hit that recently hit No. 11 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. In response to Hernandez speaking Spanish at the beginning of the clip, Druski jokes, “You know I’m a little Latino too.”

That’s when the pair start singing the track’s ultra catchy hook, with Druski impressing Hernandez with his Spanish-speaking skills. Of course, the influencer isn’t actually Latino, though he has expressed his love for Latin culture and joked that he’s an “honorary” member of the community.

Released at the beginning of October, “Dame Hombro” has already been used more than 2 million times on TikTok.

Also in the promo — which comes just a few days ahead of Druski’s hosting debut on Saturday (Nov. 7) — he remarks that he’ll be leading the “last-ever episode” of SNL, to Hernandez’s confusion. That’s when Druski whispers something to him about his plans to possibly wear and say something offensive — but fans will have to wait and see what the famously line-toeing comedian actually does on the show.

The former Billboard cover star’s upcoming 30 Rock stint follows the most recent episode, which was hosted by Inde Navarette with Gracie Abrams as musical guest. As previously announced, Druski will be joined by musical guest The Strokes, after which John Mulaney and Phoebe Bridgers will share the bill the following week.
