North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inaugurated a new national defense museum, where he viewed one of the country’s intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear bombs to the U.S., state-run media reported Tuesday.
News of Kim’s visit to the Defense Revolution Museum, where the as-of-yet-untested Hwasong-20 ICBM and other advanced missiles and drones were also displayed, came as U.S. President Donald Trump continued to tease a possible summit meeting with Kim next month.
Speaking to reporters in Washington on Monday, Trump said he could hold talks with Kim during a visit to Asia next month. The U.S. leader is scheduled to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shenzhen on Nov. 18 and 19.
