Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey were left disappointed as Fulham suffered a dramatic 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Saturday, extending their winless run to six matches.
Fulham appeared poised to secure their first league victory of the season after Ryan Sessegnon fired the visitors ahead 10 minutes into the second half.
The left-back drove a low effort from outside the penalty area into the net to give Álvaro Arbeloa’s side the advantage.
Ipswich, however, refused to give up and mounted a late fightback in front of their home supporters at Portman Road.
The hosts came close to equalising when an unmarked Emersonn crashed a header against the post. They were also denied a penalty after Daizen Maeda went down inside the box following a challenge.
Ipswich continued to press for an equaliser and were rewarded in the 88th minute when Abdoul Ouattara unleashed a powerful strike from 25 yards to beat the Fulham goalkeeper.

With momentum on their side, the hosts pushed forward in search of a winner and completed their comeback in the 92nd minute. Captain Dara O’Shea rose highest to head home from a set-piece, sending the home crowd into celebration.
The late collapse dealt another blow to Fulham, who had looked on course to claim a much-needed victory before conceding twice in the closing stages.
The result leaves Fulham in the relegation zone with just two points from six league matches, increasing the pressure on Arbeloa as he continues his search for a first win in charge.
For Ipswich, the victory marked their third league win of the campaign and lifted them to ninth place in the Premier League standings.
Fulham will now need to regroup quickly and address their defensive shortcomings as they seek to turn their difficult start to the season around.
