Shallipopi releases three-track EP 'WayWard'

Plutomanian president Shallipopi has released a new EP, WayWard, via Since '93. The project has three songs, .com, UP (Transovania) and OGO, and runs about nine minutes. It is entirely solo, with no guest features.
The opener, .com, is built on an unusual idea. Shallipopi turns web addresses into street expressions, dropping phrases like “Plutoway.com” and “Bentley.com” into bars about status and street credibility.
UP (Transovania) is produced by his longtime collaborator Producer X and leans on space imagery. It is chant-driven, with repeated lines and rocket-ship references tied to luxury and carefree confidence.
Each track captures the artist's unhurried vocal cadence over log-drum-heavy Afro-pluto instrumentals. Shallipopi's lyricism remains rooted in his personal philosophy, wealth themes, street credibility, and self-expression.
The EP follows his third album, Auracle (December 2025), which featured Wizkid, Burna Boy, Gunna, Swae Lee, Pa Salieu, Young Jonn and Rauw Alejandro. It also follows his 2026 single Allergies. Shallipopi has racked up more than 440 million streams over the past year, according to figures supplied with the release. The Benin City artist has also headlined London’s Electric Brixton, and much more.
