Emma and the Eyes that Bid Farewell's Higure Sakino Launches New Manga
Manga author Higure Sakino announced on their X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday their new manga adaptation of Akane Yuzuki's Elina Sky wa Mō Machigaenai ~Saikyō Majo no Yarinaoshi Kōfuku-tan~ (Elina Sky Will Not Make Mistakes Anymore ~The Strongest Witch's Story of Starting Over and Finding Happiness~) on Takeshobo's Take Comic website on September 28. The new manga's first two chapters had early digital releases on August 5 and September 5, respectively.
The story centers on a witch named Elendira Knightley, who possessed great power and committed extreme acts of wickedness, but also once saved a child at the brink of death. A goddess sees Elendira's goodness and places her hopes on her. After 100 years of reincarnation, Elendira is resurrected as a Count's daughter named Elina Sky. Elina vows to live this time for the good of the world and its people, and she opens up a jack-of-all-trades business to help people solve problems.
Yuzuki launched the original story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2025. Yuzuki posted the latest chapter on September 16.
Sakino launched the Emma and the Eyes that Bid Farewell (Ishikuzu no Emma to Sayonara no Hitomi) manga on COMISMA's GANMA! manga website in December 2025. The manga's first compiled book volume got a digital release in Japan on July 1. California-based global English publisher Crossed Hearts licensed the manga and will release the first volume in February 2027.
