Man found dead near abandoned condominium in Rayong

RAYONG — 16 September 2026, Residents have reported finding the skeleton of a man near an abandoned condominium near Mae Ramphueng Beach, with police investigating a possible homicide.

Police said the remains were found about 200 metres from Mae Ramphueng Beach Road in Moo 1, Phe subdistrict, Mueang Rayong district, on Tuesday evening.

The victim was estimated to be about 170cm tall and was wearing jeans and grey, thick-waisted sports-brand underwear. A roughly one-metre-wide section of brick wall, about five inches thick, was lying across the body.

Police believe he may have been dead for around 30 days. No identification or other evidence was found at the scene.

Investigators said they were examining whether two or more suspects may have brought the man to the site, killed him and concealed his body beneath the brickwork. The abandoned building has little foot traffic, police said, leaving few immediate leads.

The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been confirmed. Forensic officers are continuing their investigation.
