At least 72,000 people visited the Manila North Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, a day before All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

That's according to the Manila Police District’s official crowd estimate as of 3:00 p.m., based on a report from Super Radyo dzBB’s Christian Maño.

It's around a 30,000 increase from the 40,000 crowd count as of 1:00 p.m., according to a separate report from Jonathan Andal.

Manila North Cemetery is the largest cemetery in the country, with up to 2 million people expected to visit for Undas.

Several roads around the cemetery have been closed, including portions of Blumentritt Street, Dimasalang Street, Maceda Street, and more.

The Manila North Cemetery offers several services to visitors, including a “Puntod Finder” to help locate tombstones, as well as free rides for senior citizens. —VAL, GMA News
