Meet Apple's newest innovation — and the brand's first smart home display — the Apple HomeView. Officially launching on Nov. 13, the new device is available for preorder now on Amazon. The new device keeps your entire household connected with extensive smart features every family will find useful.

Features of the Apple HomeView

The Apple HomeView is a central hub for your home, letting you FaceTime loved ones, listen to music and plan your day. With Siri AI built in, you can ask about the weather, look up a recipe while cooking or check your schedule. HomeView can recognize up to six household members and personalize the experience for each person.

The 7-inch display and Center Stage camera make it easy to make video calls while cooking, doing chores or moving around the house. Its minimalist design fits neatly on a kitchen counter, and you can customize the display with a clock, favorite character or rotating slideshow of family photos.

If you'd rather save counter space, Apple also offers a wall-mounted option. The mounting equipment costs extra, and professional installation may be needed depending on your home's setup.

Connect to the other smart devices

In the future, you'll be able to connect to other Apple smart home devices, allowing you to turn off the lights, adjust the temperature or lock your doors with a tap or voice command.

Apple's smart cameras, thermostats and door locks are expected to launch later this year and in early 2027. They aren't available for preorder yet, but the upcoming lineup could eventually create a more connected home and simplify everyday routines.
