Former SABC sports presenter Owen Ndlovu was found dead.

Former SABC sports presenter Owen Ndlovu was found dead in Thokoza, Ekurhuleni, on Wednesday, a day after he was allegedly kidnapped.

The family confirmed his death in a statement, saying Ndlovu had been reported missing following the alleged kidnapping on Tuesday evening.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Eugene Mthethwa said residents who found Ndlovu reported that he had sustained gunshot wounds.

“His bag was also found a few metres away from where his body was discovered,” Mthethwa said.

Police comment will be added once received.
