Power Rangers Officially Confirms Turbo & Wild Force Return

Power Rangers fans will officially see the return of two fan-favorite eras as Wild Force and Turbo make a highly anticipated comeback this fall. Along with this confirmation, we also have a first look at TJ Johnson (Red Turbo Ranger) and Taylor Earhardt (Yellow Wild Force Ranger).
The fact that Power Rangers is bringing back not one, but two iconic teams in its next chapter of storytelling is huge news, especially when those teams are as iconic as Turbo and Wild Force. As long-time fans know, Turbo brought the original Zordon Era to a close and introduced the next generation of Rangers, while Wild Force notably cemented Power Rangers’ tradition of anniversary celebrations and crossovers. Now, that tradition of crossovers will continue as Turbo and Wild Force are set to collide.
For those who haven’t been keeping up with all things Power Rangers, the franchise launched what is shaping up to be one of its most ambitious eras to date back in July: Power Rangers Unlimited. Brought to fans by BOOM! Studios, this new chapter in the Rangers’ legacy stands out by uniting Rangers from across every season and series in a single story. Now, we have confirmation of an impending team-up between at least one member of the Turbo and Wild Force teams.
The Red Turbo Ranger & Yellow Wild Force Ranger Collide In Power Ranger Crossover, All Details Here
Main Cover by Alessio Zonno for Power Rangers Unlimited #5 (2026)
Coming November 11, 2026, from the creative team of writer Joey Esposito and artist Alessio Zonno is Power Rangers Unlimited #5, the fifth installment of the ongoing series. Thanks to an early solicitation, we know this issue will focus on the Unlimited Team working together to stop the theft of the legendary Sabertooth Tiger Zord.
The official synopsis for this issue teases: “Twenty-five years in the future, in the heart of Mexico’s Lacandon Jungle, a temple awaits those worthy to pass its trials... the sacred sanctuary of the Sabertooth Tiger Zord! But a villain is on the scene with a powerful weapon, and they’ve got their eye on the Zord for themselves.”
The synopsis also reveals that TJ Johnson (Red Turbo Ranger) and Taylor Earhardt (Yellow Wild Force Ranger) will lead this mission. However, what was supposed to be a reconnaissance job soon turns chaotic, with the duo having to decide whether “they [can] trust the arrival of a mind-bending mystery hero to save them and the mission at large.”
For the most part, it seems that this issue will primarily focus on the Red Turbo Ranger and Yellow Wild Force Ranger, so it remains to be seen based on the previews alone if other members of the team will make an appearance. However, the promise of what appears to be a new Blue Ranger adds to the mystery and intrigue.
Better yet, the cover art not only previews the redesigns for TJ and Taylor, but also gives us a first look at this new character. Hence, it’s not only the crossover between these two iconic Power Rangers that will make this issue notable, but also the fact that an entirely new Ranger is joining the squad.
