Hayden Panettiere's death has been officially ruled as an accident
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere's cause of death has been revealed, with the actor dying due to the toxic effects of fentanyl, Xanax and other drugs.
"The cause of death has been ruled as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol and Quetiapine," the Greenville County Coroner's Office confirmed in a statement to Variety. "The manner of death has been ruled accident."
Panettiere, also known for her roles in country music drama Nashville and slasher franchise Scream, died at the age of 36 on 16 August.
