Just two years after reaching store shelves, Bloom Sparkling Energy is one of the fastest-growing brands in the U.S. energy drink market.
Bloom Nutrition was known for green powders when it launched the energy drink in July 2024. The line went from zero to eight-figure sales in six months. Bloom sold 155M drinks in 2025, and it now ranks as a top five energy brand at Walmart (WMT), Target (TGT), and Amazon (AMZN). On a national basis, recent industry showed Bloom ranking in the top ten.
Bloom's owner is Nutrabolt, an Austin-based company that also makes C4 Energy, XTEND, and Cellucor. Nutrabolt bought a 20% stake in Bloom in January 2024. In September 2025 it invested about $160M more, bringing its total to roughly $210M and giving it majority control.
Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is further behind the scenes as a backer of Nutrabolt. Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) also distributes Bloom to stores. Notably, the company named Bloom as one of its two best-performing energy drink brands
Bloom is also expanding abroad. It started selling in Canada in April 2026 through 7-Eleven and Couche-Tard stores, and it's entering the UK through Holland & Barrett and Amazon (AMZN). Nutrabolt CEO Doss Cunningham highlighted that Bloom's energy line could approach $500M in sales.
Bloom faces strong direct competition from Celsius (CELH)-owned Alani Nu, the biggest brand aimed at women, and from Monster's (MNST) new FLRT drink.
Looking ahead, Nutrabolt has hired JPMorgan (JPM), Goldman Sachs (GS), and Bank of America (BAC) to lead an initial public offering that could raise up to $1B.
