Prime Video Snaps Up LatAm Romance Series Starring Agustin Bernasconi, Noa Kirel With Sipur Repping Global Sales (EXCLUSIVE)

Prime Video has snapped up LatAm romance series “Mírame Así, El Camino de Noa,” which is set for release next month.

The 24-part series, which stars international pop sensations Agustin Bernasconi and Noa Kirel, is set to launch on the streaming platform Oct. 9 in Latin America. In Argentina it will also air on the free-to-air América TV.

Shari Redstone-chaired Sipur Studios is repping global sales.

“‘Mírame Así, El Camino de Noa’ has all the ingredients to become an international hit,” said Sipur Studios CEO Emilio Schenker. “A steamy love triangle, irresistible chemistry, original music, a young cast with tens of millions of followers around the world, and a story packed with romance, jealousy, betrayal and ambition that can connect with audiences everywhere.”

“Mírame Así” follows Noa (Kirel) as she arrives in Argentina and quickly falls for rebellious musician (Bernasconi), who is nursing a broken heart.

“Together with a close-knit group of friends, they form a band and uncover long-held secrets, sparking a fiery love triangle and an unexpected chance to make their dreams come true,” reads the synopsis.

The cast also includes El Purre Gimenez, Kevsho, Caro Domenech, Agustina Benavides, Bianca Spinello, Mica Suárez, Jerónimo Bosia and Manuel Ramos.

The series is well-positioned internationally. As well as being an intercontinental co-pro featuring an international cast, the show’s stars also boast large social media followings. Kirel, an Israeli pop star and former Eurovision Song Contest finalist who has starred in “Aliados” and “Soy Luna,” has 1.8 million Instagram followers and 1.6 million TikTok followers while Bernasconi has 9 million Instagram followers and 3 million TikTok likes. Both have also amassed millions of streams of their music.

Together, the ensemble cast have a social media reach of more than 20 million followers.

“Mírame Así,” which is directed by Mauro Scandolari (“Aliados”), features nine original songs by by Loishka (“Soy Luna”) as well as a cover of Paulina Rubio’s Latin hit “Ni Una Sola Palabra.” It was created by Patricia Maldonado (“Chiquititas”) with Mili Roque Pitt (“Abzurdah”) and Alejandro Cacetta (“Elefante Blanco”) as showrunners and Fer Riveros (“Violetta”) and Matías Rodríguez (“Soy Luna”) as writers.

The series is produced by Yair Dori, Sipur, Fam Contenidos and Swap. Executive producers are Fernando Blanco, Alejandro Cacetta, Mili Roque Pitt, Yair Dori, Adrian Loureiro and Emilio Schenker.
