EXCLUSIVE: Production company K180 Studios has wrapped on its sophomore feature, a Passover home-invasion horror-comedy titled Doom Scroll from director Natalie Bailey. The cast includes Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Josh Radnor (Hunters), David Mazouz (Gotham), Inbar Lavi (Imposters), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), and Erin Darke (Good Girls Revolt).

Shot in the Canary Islands, Doom Scroll watches as a family’s Passover Seder is ambushed by intruders hungry for revenge, viral fame and power. A college student grappling with his identity must then protect his family and reckon with an ancient myth that becomes terrifyingly real.

Founded in 2021 by siblings Becky Korman, Lily Korman and Shai Korman, K180 came to Doom Scroll on the heels of The Floaters, a Jewish summer-camp ensemble comedy starring Jackie Tohn, Sarah Podemski, Aya Cash, Seth Green and Steve Guttenberg, which opened in theaters through distributor Brainstorm Media this summer.

Reuniting three actors from The Floaters — Judah Lewis, Jim Kaplan, and Max Samuels — the company’s second film also stars Rita Shukrun (Karaoke), Gilles Geary (Cupertino), Gore Abrams (The Substance), Delilah Napier (Floating Carousel), Rob McLoughlin (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon) and Carys Douglas (upcoming The Problem with Poets).

Jason Venokur, a veteran of sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun, adapted the screenplay from a story co-written with Becky Korman, Lily Korman, and Shai Korman. Becky Korman, Lily Korman, Shai Korman and Chris Collins produced the film, with Venokur serving as executive producer.

Bailey came to Doom Scroll after premiering her dark comedy Audrey in competition at SXSW in 2024. She earned the Australian Directors’ Guild Award for Best Direction of a Debut Feature for her work there, more recently working on Apple TV’s Down Cemetery Road. Her other television credits include HBO’s Run, Armando Iannucci’s Avenue 5 and the BBC’s The Thick of It. She is repped by Curtis Brown Group, HLA Management, and Independent Artist Group.

Alexander is repped by Innovative, Yumkas Entertainment, and Gendler, Kelly & Cunningham; Radnor by Gersh, 3 Arts, and Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz; Mazouz by Paradigm, Untitled, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman; Lavi by Paradigm, Justice & Ponder, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman; Brandt by TalentWorks, Patty Woo Management, and Del Shaw Moonves; and Darke by IAG and Anonymous Content.
