Metallica‘s Sphere residency kicks off this week, with the band slated to perform a total of 24 shows starting in October and running through March. The run sold out quickly after hitting primary marketplace, Ticketmaster.

That means that fans who want to see the metal icons but missed the general sale window will need to check resale, either through verified Ticketmaster resale or on platforms like StubHub and SeatGeek.

The band’s Life Burns Faster residency is grouped in two-night sets, with unique set lists across the shows. The residency initially started as an eight-show run, before Metallica quickly added extra dates to stretch across two dozen nights.

Metallica fans who aren’t planning on hitting Sin City for the Sphere dates can also catch them on the North American M72 tour, which kicks off in the spring. The stadium tour will feature support from Limp Bizkit and Avatar, and runs through cities including San Diego, San Antonio, and Cleveland, before ending in Salt Lake City in June.

While prices often dip closer to the show’s dates, tickets for Metallica’s Sphere dates have dropped only slightly or, in some cases, gone up, according to ticket price tracker TicketData. The get-in price starts at around $700. Tickets are available either for a single night or for two nights, similar to Phish’s multi-night Sphere residency.

The band’s non-Sphere shows are considerably less expensive — you can get tickets starting at under $100 for select dates.

You can buy individual or two-night tickets to Metallica’s residency on StubHub. Prices start at around $750 for Sphere dates, while the band’s M72 tour dates start at under $100 for the Arkansas date.

Standalone tickets start at around $600, making VividSeats slightly cheaper than StubHub. As with StubHub, prices are lower for the non-Sphere shows, with tickets starting at $82 for the Cleveland show.

SeatGeek
