Translate

After season 2 finished airing at the start of this year, Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ drama Landman has officially entered production on season 3.

The news was announced in a post on the show's official Instagram page, showing a picture of a helmet alongside the caption: "Back to business. Production has officially started on Season 3 of #Landman".

Elsewhere, it has now also been announced that four of the show's cast members have been promoted to series regulars, after previously filling out recurring roles.

Those who will now be series regulars are Colm Feore as Nathan, Mustafa Speaks as Theodore 'Boss' Ramone, Bobbi Salvor Menuez as Paigyn Meester and Francesca Xuereb as Cheyenne.

Thornton previously told The Hollywood Reporter that he didn't know whether season three would pick up where season 2 left off, saying: "I really don’t know what’s going to happen. I think maybe the actual physical danger might come back a little bit more. It feels right to me that it would.

"But I can’t help but think that there’s going to be something that happens in the family that is maybe unsettling. I don’t know. These are all feelings I have because that’s all I have to go on."

Landman is just one of an empire of Paramount+ shows from Sheridan, with the writer having also created Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Marshals, The Madison, Dutton Ranch and the upcoming Frisco King.

Landman seasons one and two are available to stream on Paramount+ now. Get a seven day free Paramount Plus trial at Amazon Prime Video.
