Col. Byron Allatog, Tawi-Tawi provincial police director, said police raided a house in Barangay Pababag and arrested the suspects. One of them was allegedly in possession of the Glock 19 pistol owned by the PCG member.

During the search, police also recovered two M16 and three M14 rifles, along with ammunition.

Allatog said the suspects did not resist arrest and allegedly admitted to the crime.

The operation followed a tip from concerned citizens about civilians carrying firearms in the village. /mcm
