'Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion!' Anime's Video Reveals More Cast, Staff, Theme Songs, October 5 Debut
Kadokawa unveiled a new promotional video and visual for the television anime of writer Eiko Mutsuhana and illustrator Vient's Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion! (Dōmo, Sukina Hito ni Horegusuri o Irai Sareta Majo Desu.) light novel series on Monday. The video reveals more cast and staff members for the anime, the October 5 television and streaming debut, and the anime's theme songs. The video reveals and previews both the anime's opening theme song "Kanawanai" (I Can't Compare) by Centimillimental and the anime's ending theme song "Mada Uso ni wa Naranai" (It's Still Not a Lie) by Rainy.
The anime will debut on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting on October 5, and on MBS on October 6. The anime will begin streaming on d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai on October 5, and on other streaming sites on October 10.

Keizō Kusakawa is directing the anime at diomedéa. Wataru Watari is overseeing the series scripts, and Masakazu Ishikawa is designing the characters. Yayoi Tateishi is directing the sound, and Hayato Matsumura is composing the music with Heart Company producing the music.

Mutsuhana began serializing the novel on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" website in April 2019, and the series ended in March 2020. Futabasha began publishing the story in print with art by Vient in October 2019. Futabasha published the second volume in March 2020.
Kamada's manga adaptation runs on Kadokawa's ComicWalker website, and Kadokawa published the sixth manga volume on February 5. Yen Press releases the manga under the English title Hi, I'm a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion. Yen Press released the manga's fifth volume on January 20.
