'Apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi': After Tiger Shroff attack, fresh warning to Salman Khan in chilling audio

An audio recording linked to Anil Pandit has emerged, threatening Salman Khan over an apology.

MUMBAI: A chilling audio purportedly featuring Anil Pandit, who claimed responsibility for the firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s car, has surfaced, with the speaker threatening Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and demanding an apology to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bishnoi community. In the audio, shared by the Mumbai Crime Branch, Anil warned Salman Khan against relying on his security and threatened his family if he did not apologise.“Listen to me carefully, Salman Khan. If you don't apologise to my elder brother, Lawrence Bishnoi, or to the Bishnoi community, then we won't even leave a dog in your house. We will destroy your entire family. Keep this in mind. Don't think that you are in security and nothing will happen to you,” Anil Pandit said. The audio surfaced after three motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at a BMW carrying Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area around 7pm on Sunday. The actor was leaving Pushpa Narsee Park, also known as Jamnabai Nursery, after attending a birthday gathering when the attackers fired multiple rounds at his vehicle. Two men allegedly opened fire while a third waited on a motorcycle to facilitate their escape.

Seven rounds were reportedly fired. Shroff escaped without any gunshot injuries, although he sustained minor abrasions from shattered glass. His driver, Firdaus, suffered a bullet injury to his left hand, while a passerby was also injured. In a social media post, Pandit and another individual, Harman Sandhu, claimed responsibility for the attack, alleging that they had warned Shroff against working with Salman Khan but that he had ignored their warning.“Anyone in the Mumbai film industry who does not listen to us or works with Salman Khan will be next. Wait and watch,” the post read. The message also threatened rival groups allegedly using their name to gain notoriety. Police are verifying the authenticity of the social media post and the claims made in the audio.

Mumbai Police have formed 15 teams, including personnel from the Crime Branch, to trace the assailants. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and forensic evidence to establish the sequence of events and identify those involved.
