Axed Celebrity Traitors star "rooting solely for James Acaster" - despite being murdered

Warning: spoilers follow for episode four of The Celebrity Traitors.

Bella Ramsey became the second Faithful to be brutally murdered on this year's Celebrity Traitors but the Last of Us star appears to be taking their axing very well. Bella was murdered on Friday's episode (9 October) by Traitors Maya Jama, James Acaster and Professor Hannah Fry.

The trio had been choosing between Ramsey, James Blunt and Sebastian 'Bash' Croft, with Bella being chosen in order to split up the close-knit group they'd formed with Faithfuls Bash, Ross Kemp and Julie Hesmondhalgh.

Following their murder Bella had the names of the Traitors revealed to them on spin-off show The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked by host Ed Gamble.

Before they opened the envelope Bella shared that they believed the Traitors were Joe Lycett, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Hannah. While Bella wasn't shocked to see Hannah's name and they didn't even seem too surprised over Maya, they were stunned when James Acaster's name appeared on the scroll.

"I had a sick feeling that it was him," Bella said. "Oh that's dark. Oh that's so good, he's excellent."

When asked if they thought it would be a Faithful or Traitors win, Bella said: "I'm now rooting solely for James Acaster. I really, really really want him to win. That is absolutely brilliant."

In their exit interview, Bella revealed that they initially wanted to be a Traitor but then changed their mind.

"I changed my mind after the conversation with Claudia and really wanted to be a Faithful," Bella said.

"At the Round Table Traitors pick, I was hoping not to get tapped because that afternoon I'd really thought about how exciting it would be to get to play the game and figure out who the Traitors were.

"I love the game so much, and the idea of being able to properly play it, to be a detective and hunt down the Traitors is actually really thrilling."

Celebrity Traitors airs Thursday and Friday at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
