Celebrity Traitors 2026: Third traitor revealed as major celeb is ‘murdered’ in huge twist

The Weekender

Celebrity Traitors delivered a major twist as a familiar face was “murdered” while another celebrity was secretly recruited to join the Traitors.

The pair had to decide who would be murdered and who could potentially be recruited to join them in the castle.

As the celebrities gathered for breakfast, suspicions were already beginning to swirl.

Hannah Fry raised concerns about Leigh-Anne Pinnock, claiming she had spotted the singer putting on make-up “very, very late in the evening”.

Rob Beckett told her there would be an explanation needed when it came to revealing her “workings”, describing it as a “bold strategy from a Faithful”.

Richard appeared to mock the theory, jokingly asking Rob: “Do you have more teeth than a normal person?”

Meanwhile, Joe Lycett appeared to have Ross Kemp in his sights, saying that “all eyes are on Ross Kemp” before later admitting he was “keeping a close eye on Ross Kemp”.

But the breakfast conversation was hiding a much bigger twist.

Amol was revealed to have been murdered, leaving the remaining celebrities shocked as they discovered another Faithful had been taken out of the game.

However, Richard and Maya had also decided to recruit James.

The pair welcomed him into the secret group, with Richard telling him: “James, we’d like to welcome you as a new Traitor to the coven.”

James appeared overwhelmed by the shock revelation, saying: “This is like every emotion I’ve ever felt.”

Richard then appeared confident about the Traitors’ chances, saying they had a “game plan” and that “enough people” were looking in the wrong direction.

James’ recruitment gives the Traitors another player working against the Faithfuls, while the remaining celebrities are left trying to work out who they can trust.

Grant explicitly revealed he was a Traitor in episode one

BBC

Following Amol’s murder, there are now 20 celebrities remaining in the castle.

Richard E Grant and Maya Jama are the original Traitors, while James Acaster has now joined them as the third member of the coven.

The remaining celebrities are playing as Faithfuls, with their task being to identify and banish the Traitors before they are eliminated themselves.
