Ryt Bank adds Apple Pay support for Ryt Card

Translate

Ryt Bank customers can now add their Ryt Card to Apple Wallet and use Apple Pay for payments in stores, online and in apps.

Ryt Bank said the launch made it the first digital bank in Malaysia to support both Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The digital bank introduced Google Pay support for its Ryt Card in January.

With Apple Pay, customers can make contactless payments using compatible Apple devices at merchants that accept the service.

Ryt Bank said Apple Pay purchases are authenticated through Face ID, Touch ID or a device passcode.

Payment information is also protected through a unique device account number and transaction-specific security code, it said.

To add a Ryt Card to Apple Wallet, customers need to open the Wallet app on a compatible Apple device, tap the “+” button and follow the instructions.
