Translate

BBC comedy series Ellie & Natasia has confirmed a host of fantastic guest stars joining Ellie White and Natasia Demetriou on the show's second season, including comedian Steve Coogan.

The surreal sketch show has also released some first-look pictures of the new stars appearing in season 2, with Coogan posing in full Victorian chimney sweeper attire.

In another image, Ellie and Demetriou, who also co-wrote the series, can be seen alongside new guest star Asim Chaudry. Meanwhile, a third snap confirmed that season 2 will once again mark a Demetriou siblings' reunion, with the What We Do in the Shadows' Natasia starring alongside her brother, and star of Stath Lets Flats, Jamie Demetriou, as well as White and their frequent collaborator, Daniel Barker.

Ellie & Natasia's stars and creators introduced the full roster of guest stars for season 2 in a statement, revealing that Fleabag star Sian Clifford, Slow Horses' Dustin Demri-Burns and Ghosts' Kiell Smith-Bynoe will all appear in the new episodes, among many others.

"We had a lot of people begging to be in the show and sadly lots of them didn't make the cut but the ones that did were definitely the funniest and best looking and transferred the most cash into our bank accounts," White and Demetriou said.

"So massive congratulations to the likes of Messrs and Mmes - Sian Clifford, Vikki Pepperdine, Jamie Demetriou, Dustin Demri-Burns, Barney White, Seb Cardinal, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Alex Owen, Rosa Robson, Hugh Skinner, Asim Chaudhry and many more," the duo continued before joking about their guest of honour: "an up-and-coming comedian who we both have been championing for a while: Steve Coogan - expect big things from him!"
