It's not really a secret Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026. The beloved franchise has found myriad ways to celebrate throughout the year, including the video game releases of FireRed and LeafGreen on Nintendo's eShop, Pokémon Pokopia on Switch 2, and Pokémon Champions. A 30th anniversary stream in February also revealed a first look at Gen 10's Pokémon Winds and Waves. It's not just video games, however, as numerous merchandise releases continue to drop.

This week alone has seen Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG skateboard decks release and become instantly sold out. There's also the 30th Celebration collection in the Pokémon Trading Card Game that debuted last month (and is still highly-sought after). Collabs with Adidas, Stern pinball, and Puma have also been a part of the 30th anniversary festivities in 2026. The anniversary has also led to redesigns for several iconic Pokémon being revealed, and that includes this new design for the Legendary Mewtwo.

Mewtwo Metal Hybrid Enzo Ring

Available to pre-order now on the official Pokémon Center, the "Mewtwo Metal Hybrid Ring by Enso" is made for adults and priced at $134.99. The ring features Mewtwo with its trademark intimidating glare on a deep purple background. Additionally, the outer portion made of titanium can be removed, showing off the silicone ring that's underneath it. For now, the ring is available in sizes 6 to 13, but as with any Pokémon products, they may start selling out fast.

The ring looks pretty cool, and the new Mewtwo design featured on it is impressive. If it's out of your price range, Pokémon Center does have a couple other options that are less expensive. Right now, a silicone ring featuring Gengar and another featuring Charizard are both available to order and are listed at $44.99. The difference, of course, is that there's no titanium option for the outer layer. The available sizes are the same as well, although the Gengar ring is sold out of the size 13 option.

All three Pokémon featured on the Enso rings have a long and storied history with Pokémon. All three were fan-favorites that came from Gen 1's Kanto region. So, it makes sense that these three would get a lot of attention as the franchise celebrates turning 30. On top of the rings, all three Pokémon have gotten shoes from Adidas, new TCG cards, and more.

However, Mewtwo's history with the franchise makes this new ring design a must-have for a lot of fans. Pokémon: The First Movie — Mewtwo Strikes Back was a watershed moment for many fans in the '90s, and the Evolution remake solidified the iconic film into the minds of a new generation. Since those first games of Pokémon Red and Blue debuted, Mewtwo has remained one of the most popular Pokémon on the entire planet.

The Mewtwo design on this Enso ring is honestly pretty cool, and even with the hefty price tag, I'd expect it to sell out fairly quickly. If the Santa Cruz skateboard collab is any indiction (or all the previous collabs this year), these items won't be available for long. Mewtwo is definitely one of the most iconic designs in all of Pokémon, so it's nice to see the Legendary being represented here.
