Napoli have confirmed that Alisson Santos suffered a medium-grade hamstring injury at the end of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat against Venezia, which was the Brazilian’s first game back after recovering from the exact same issue.
Napoli confirm Alisson Santos has suffered the same hamstring injury again
Napoli have confirmed in a statement on the club website that the 24-year-old attacker reported for medical tests on Monday after picking up an injury towards the end of Sunday’s shock 1-0 defeat against Venezia, who had not picked up a single point in Serie A before this weekend.
The club has confirmed that Alisson has suffered a medium-grade hamstring injury, the exact same injury he suffered during a 1-0 Champions League defeat against Arsenal back in September.

Alisson missed four matches across all competitions as a result of his previous hamstring injury, but the lay-off time lasted for over one month given that there was an extra-long international break at the end of September and beginning of October.
Given that the next international break officially kicks off on November 9, it seems unlikely that the Brazilian will be able to feature before the next Nations League matches.
