Morat Release “Me Mata” Following Fan-Led Campaign On Social Media: Stream

Translate

Colombian pop-rock band Morat have released their new single, “Me Mata.” The track arrives after an unusual social media campaign in which the group let fans decide which song they would release next.

A few weeks ago, Morat invited fans to choose between two unreleased tracks, “Me Mata” and “Suéltame,” by creating content using either song on TikTok and Instagram. The track that inspired the most creations would earn its release, with “Me Mata” ultimately coming out on top.

The new single captures the excitement of an intense attraction, with lyrics about being drawn to someone and struggling to keep one’s distance. Its accompanying music video takes a more playful approach, featuring Morat performing at a senior living community as a lively bingo tournament unfolds around them.

“Me Mata” arrives as Morat continue their Ya Es Mañana World Tour, which launched with six sold-out shows at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena. The band recently wrapped the tour’s Latin American leg, including a second six-show residency in Argentina, and will head to Spain, Mexico, and Venezuela before kicking off their U.S. and Canada dates in February 2027.
