Travis Barker Reveals Reason Behind Hospitalization in Photo With Kourtney Kardashian
ABCDEFG—Kourtney Kardashian has to go set the record straight.
In the premiere episode of The Kardashians season eight, the eldest sister got into a deep conversation with friend Simon Huck about her marriage to Travis Barker and her continuously strained relationship with her siblings.
“They think Travis has taken you,” Simon said during the episode, to which Kourtney quipped, “Like kidnapped me?”
Spelling it out for his BFF, “That, like, he’s shielding you from the family,” Simon clarified. “Which you are doing it.”
To which Kourtney affirmed, “I’m doing it, it’s definitely me.”
In fact, she added that Travis—with whom she shares 2-year-old son Rocky—is just more naturally inclined to solitude.
“He’s just a more introverted personality than what they’re used to,” the Lemme founder—who also shares kids Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign , 11, with ex Scott Disick—continued, emphasizing it’s a different position from where her ex wants to be. "He also, like, doesn’t need them, where Scott, like, wants to be the sixth Kardashian sister.”
The pair’s exchange about Kourtney’s marriage came about after the Poosh creator detailed meeting with her therapist for the first time in months, during which they talked about a conversation she'd had with sister Khloe Kardashian.
“I almost started crying,” the 47-year-old admitted, “because she was like, ‘I happened to catch a part of your show, where you were having that talk with Khloe.’ And she said, ‘I was so proud of the way that you spoke, and the way that you expressed your feelings. And you really just got to the point, and you were direct and honest.’”

During the conversation in question, Kourtney told her sister she sometimes feels like she can’t relate to her family, and that in turn they don’t try to relate to her.
And while Kourtney’s time on the reality series has earned some online criticism, her therapist apparently told her, “‘F--k the haters.’”
“That makes me not give a single f--k what anyone else says,” Kourtney continued. “I care about her opinion more than any stranger on the internet.”
Instead, she’s focusing on her relationship and the happiness she feels there.
