Asenso-Boakye commends new TESCON coordinator over digital membership platform

Translate

Former Roads and Highways Minister Francis Asenso-Boakye has commended the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) newly appointed National TESCON Coordinator, Ebenezer Kojo Amoah, for introducing a digital application to connect members and alumni of the organisation nationwide.

The application was presented to the Bantama MP during a courtesy visit by the NPP National Youth Organiser, Abanga Fuseni, and the newly appointed national TESCON leadership.

The platform is designed to create a centralised database of TESCON members and alumni across the country, with the aim of improving communication, coordination and networking within the organisation.

Mr Asenso-Boakye, TESCON’s founding president, expressed satisfaction with the initiative, particularly because it had been introduced within a relatively short period after Mr Amoah assumed office.

He described the application as an encouraging demonstration of the innovation needed to reposition TESCON and strengthen its operations in an increasingly digital political environment.

Mr Asenso-Boakye noted that TESCON had grown from just three universities at its inception about 26 years ago to more than 250 tertiary institutions nationwide, making modern systems for managing membership records and maintaining links with alumni increasingly important.
