India completed a hat-trick of compound gold medals after it clinched the yellow metal with a 238-237 win over China in the men’s team final at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on Wednesday.
This medal comes after the Indian women’s and mixed compound teams defended their gold medals.
The India trio consisted of Kushal Dalal, Sahil Jadhav, and Ganesh Thirumuru recovered from an early stumble to defend the top prize.
In the final, the Indian team trailed the Chinese by two points after the first two ends. The deficit was cut by a point at the end of the third.
China’s Jiahao Liao then hit an eight in the fourth and final end before the Indians shot 10s to confirm the gold medal with two Chinese shots to go.
