12 homes gutted by La Union City blaze
CALASIAO, Pangasinan – A dawn fire gutted 12 houses in Barangay Ilocanos Sur in San Fernando City, La Union, on Friday.
No deaths were reported, but three female senior citizens and an adolescent were injured in the incident, an initial report showed.

The Provincial Government of La Union said the fire displaced 27 families who are currently staying at the barangay halls of Barangay Tanqui and Barangay Ilocanos Sur.

The fire started at 4:01 a.m., and firefighters declared “fire out” at 5:30 a.m., with rainfall helping contain the blaze.
